September 19, 2022

Starting at 7 pm | Shadows, 176 Rinaldi Blvd, Poughkeepsie, NY

September is National Recovery Month!

Help us raise awareness about substance use disorder (addiction) in our community…

Join us for our 11th Annual Starry Night Ceremony, where we honor the lives that have been lost to substance use disorder and celebrate all those who have found their pathway to recovery.

The Council on Addiction Prevention and Education and the Prevention Foundation of the Mid-Hudson Valley have hosted this special event since 2011. Each year we come together to heal as a community and to know that we are not alone. We talk about prevention and the hope of recovery from SUD/addiction and reducing the stigma around this complex brain disease.

This year’s event will be live on the waterfront in Poughkeepsie. Our special candlelight ceremony will be followed by refreshments and conversation at Shadows on the Hudson.
This event is FREE to attend, but please RSVP to give us a headcount for food.
