A chance to help protect our community…

National Rx Drug Take Back Day

The drug overdose crisis in the U.S. is a serious public health threat. The DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day helps protect communities by encouraging the safe disposal of unused medications. Please do your part to protect our community and the environment! Bring us your unused meds, so they can be disposed of properly.

Why Proper Disposal Matters:

  • Expired or unused medications can cause accidental poisoning, overdose, or misuse.

  • Prescription drugs can be just as dangerous as illicit drugs when used without medical supervision.

  • Medications tossed in the trash can be retrieved and misused or sold illegally.

  • Flushing unused drugs contaminates the water supply.
