September is National Recovery Month

Help us raise awareness about substance use disorder (addiction) in our community…

Join us for our 9th Annual Starry Night Ceremony, where we celebrate those who have found their pathway to recovery from substance use disorder and honor the lives that have been lost along the way. This year we will be holding a free virtual event on Zoom.

The CAPE Foundation & the Council on Addiction Prevention and Education have hosted this special event since 2011. Each year we come together to heal as a community and to know that we are not alone. We will talk about the hope of recovery from SUD/addiction and reducing the stigma around this complex brain disease. Come and hear messages from speakers who are living proof that recovery is possible.

Have you lost someone to substance use disorder?

Follow the link below to submit this form and light a virtual candle in honor of your friend, family member, or loved one. Share a photo and write them a message so we can honor their memory at the event. Please help us spread the word to all those who might wish to honor someone’s life and memory.

LIGHT A CANDLE

If you can’t join us at the event, you can still submit a loved one to be remembered or make a donation to our cause…

All donations are welcome in support of our prevention and recovery initiatives in the Dutchess County community, through the CAPE Foundation
