Thursday, October 5, 2017 marks the 2nd Annual Youth Health Rally at Dutchess Stadium! Welcoming nearly 2,000 9th graders from close to 10 high schools throughout Dutchess County, this event aims to reframe the health and wellness message for our youth as CAPE, along with our community partners, strive toward a healthier Hudson Valley. We will welcome over 20 health and wellness focused vendors promoting pro-social activities and services geared toward youth and families. In addition, a local 13-15 year old band will be performing several songs for our students in attendance, each delivering a message of hope, motivation, and self-worth. We are also honored to introduce Randi from Breaking the Cycle who will share her personal story relating to the family disease of addiction and our second speaker will share a personal journey through the road to recovery. We are so excited to share these wonderful services and stories with our youth and are already looking forward to next year!
